REGISTRATION OPEN NOW FOR OUR FALL 2 - 2022 SESSION!!!
The ISA is progressive skill intensive development program.
K-5th grade athletes can sign up for one or all classes at $30/per class. Athletes will work with the same coach (or 2 coaches) on basic skills and skill development.
MS/HS athletes participate for 2 hours per week for the entire 4 or 6 week program at a cost of $250/4 weeks & $375/6 weeks. Athletes will work with the same coach (or 2 coaches) on skill foundation, progressive skill development and team dynamics during scrimmage play.
$150 due at time of registration
$100 due 12/23/22
Athletes will be split by skill level and may change courts based on skill placement. There will be a max of 14 athletes for each age division in our Skill Academy.
Practices are indoor and held in West Seattle at Seattle Lutheran High School.

Advanced
Beginners level: New to volleyball. May have some experience with ball and playing with friends and family to some degree. Typically, has no or limited knowledge of game play and basic fundamentals. This level is recommended for all that have not had any team/group experience of any kind
Intermediate Level: Has had some exposure to volleyball. Is familiar with the basics of passing, setting and hitting. Must have had previous team experience of some kind (Club, school, rec league, WSR ISA course). Has general understanding of game play including rotating, basic positions, and rules of the game.
Advanced: Has had at least 1 year of competitive team play experience. Skilled at passing, setting, and hitting. On average, has good ball control and can pass to target. Knowledgeable about game rules and systems. Had experience with different rotational systems as 4-2, 5-1, or 6-2. Familiar with 2, 3, or 4 step approach. Knowledgeable of specialized positions such as outside hitter, libero, or middle, and their role on court.
Within the first 2 weeks, skill will be assessed and athletes may be moved to different groups to make sure they are all being challenged and having fun.
Athletes may also be bumped to other groups if registration numbers are not large enough. Special attention will be given in these situations to make sure athletes are comfortable where they are placed.
Refunds will be provided only if there is cancellation due to low enrollment and are subject to a 15% administrative fee.
AAU membership (approx. $15/EA); this is your court insurance required by WSR to participate in long-term programs.
