🏐 Tournament & Season Schedule Information

All teams are expected to participate in 1–2 tournaments per month.  U15+ National teams will attend at least one out-of-state tournament during the season. Most tournaments are within a 1–2 hour drive of Seattle.

Teams may choose to attend additional tournaments (in or out of state) at an added cost.

🗓 Shared Event Notes

The following events are typically attended by multiple or all National teams, depending on age and qualification. Full team schedules will be confirmed as each event approaches.

  • Friendly Tournaments
Held the two weekends before the Christmas holiday (dates subject to host availability).
These serve as early season scrimmage-style events to build team chemistry and provide initial evaluation opportunities.
  • MLK Tournament – Typically in Downtown Seattle
A competitive multi-division tournament that kicks off the heart of the club season.
  • Regional Power League (Jan–Apr)
League dates may include one 2-day weekend or single-day events spread across 1–2 weekends per scheduled round.
Locations are assigned by the league host and change each round based on division, age group, and competitive placement—ranging anywhere from Stanwood to Lakewood.
  • PSR Regionals – Centralia, WA
A group hotel block will be offered when possible, but space is limited and not guaranteed.
Families are encouraged to book lodging as soon as their team’s assigned weekend date is known—even before blocks are released—and to choose flexible cancellation options.
Depending on team placement, brackets may be held in Centralia or locally. If teams are reassigned to local sites, reservations can be canceled or shifted to the block if space is available.
This is the final tournament of the season for our U10–U12 National teams, and a great opportunity for younger athletes to showcase their growth and teamwork from the season.
  • PNW Championships – Ridgefield, WA
A group hotel block will be arranged for this event. Usually held in early April.
  • Willamette Valley Classic – Portland, OR
A group hotel block will also be arranged for this event. Usually held in early to mid May.
This is the end-of-year tournament for our U13 and older National teams.
We love to celebrate the season, have fun, and show off how far we’ve come as a team!
  • End of Season Party
A fun, celebratory team event to wrap up the season.

Girls' League Development Teams

🏐 League Team Program Overview

WS Reign League Teams offer athletes an exciting opportunity to develop skills, improve game understanding, and compete in a fun, challenging environment—without the travel commitment of a National team.

This developmental program runs during the core of the club season (November–April) and is designed to help athletes build strong technical fundamentals, grow their volleyball IQ, and progress into team and position-specific training as they advance.

Whether your athlete is just beginning or ready to launch their play into hyperdrive—this league is the perfect fit.

🗓 General Information

  • League teams practice one evening a week.

  • U11-U14 Teams play in-house scrimmages 1-2 times per month, including games against other League teams and our National teams
While we actively work to schedule scrimmages with other local clubs, outside matchups are not guaranteed due to varying team schedules and gym availability.

  • U15/U16 Teams play in local Power League through Puget Sound Regional Volleyball. Local to Western Washington.

  • Our in-house league teams will also compete in one official PSR regional tournament held locally in March or April.

WSR League athletes are also considered alternates for our National travel teams. If a National roster spot opens up, league players may be offered the opportunity to move up (additional cost applies). Accepting a spot is optional—league athletes may decline without penalty.

🏃‍♀️ Performance Training Access

League athletes will participate in D1 performance training sessions, including speed, agility, jump, plyo, injury prevention and nutrition components—led by certified professionals.

These sessions are included in the registration fee and take place during practices throughout the season.

👕 Uniform & Gear

Each League athlete will receive:

  • 1 WS Reign Game Day T-shirt Jersey

  • 1 Practice T-shirt
Uniform items are provided at no additional cost and are designed for comfort, team identity, and competitive play.

🔍 Tryout Information

All athletes who attend WS Reign tryouts will be considered for both National and League teams.

  • Athletes not selected for a National team will automatically be considered for League placement.

  • For those athletes trying out in summer, AND DO NOT GET OFFERED A NATIONAL TEAM SPOT, we will ask that you return in fall so we can reevaluate for any open National team spots and/or for league team spots.

  • Ongoing tryouts will continue through December 15th, 2025, or until each age group reaches 24 athletes.

  • We will form up to 2 teams per age group, with a maximum of 15 athletes per team.

What’s Next:
If your athlete is selected for a League team, families will receive a welcome email with registration instructions, season details, and practice start information. Please make sure your contact info is up to date in TeamSnap or during the tryout process.

  • Start: Week of November 30, 2025
