What to Expect at WS Reign Camps
WS Reign camps are designed to help athletes improve their volleyball skills, whether they are just starting out or looking to build on existing fundamentals. Camps are organized by age groups and/or skill levels to provide a focused, appropriate, and supportive learning environment.
Our coaches use a variety of teaching methods, including on-court drills, classroom learning sessions, hands-on walkthroughs, conditioning, scrimmages, and fun games to teach and reinforce skills.

WS Reign clinics are focused training opportunities designed to help athletes sharpen specific skills, improve court confidence, and prepare for upcoming volleyball opportunities.
Unlike a full camp experience, clinics are shorter, targeted training sessions built around intentional skill work, coach feedback, and game-like application. Athletes will train in a supportive, high-energy environment with experienced WSR coaches who focus on both technical development and confidence on the court.
Clinics may be organized by age, grade, skill level, or training focus to help create an appropriate and productive learning environment for each athlete.
WS Reign clinics are focused training sessions built around intentional skill work, high-quality reps, and coach feedback.

In-depth skill technique training
High-repetition drills to reinforce proper mechanics
Hands-on walkthroughs and guided corrections
Personalized coach feedback in a focused training environment
Fun competitive games to reinforce learning
Depending on the clinic focus, athletes may also participate in:
Conditioning and movement work
Scrimmage-style play and game-like situations
WS Reign clinics are designed to provide athletes with quality instruction and meaningful reps.

1:8 maximum coach-to-athlete ratio
Limited to 16 athletes per court, no exceptions
Minimum of 8 athletes required per court for the clinic to run

This clinic is designed to help athletes prepare for fall tryouts by focusing on skill execution, court confidence, coachability, communication, and competitive readiness.

About Gold Medal Squared
Gold Medal Squared (GMS) is a collaboration of some of the most successful and experienced volleyball coaches in the country. Founded in 1985 by the late Dr. Carl McGown, GMS has over 35 years of experience running volleyball camps and coaching clinics worldwide.
The organization has been shaped by legendary coaches like Dr. Marv Dunphy and Dr. Doug Beal, who have developed effective, principle-based coaching methods used at all levels of play. GMS coaches have been involved in every Olympic Games since the 1980s, with staff members contributing to Olympic medal-winning teams in Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020.
The mission of GMS is to share the most effective, up-to-date volleyball coaching techniques through clinics, summer camps, and their online training platform, GMS+. Their legacy includes helping thousands of junior high, high schools, and club programs achieve championship success.

WS Reign’s Volleyball Intensive Skills Academy, or ISA, is a progressive training program designed to help athletes improve their core volleyball skills in a focused, supportive environment.
Athletes will work with experienced WSR coaches on technical skill development, court movement, volleyball IQ, and game confidence. Throughout the session, athletes will also have opportunities to apply what they are learning through structured drills and scrimmage-style play.

ISA is offered in both Wednesday and Saturday session formats. Please review the schedule carefully before registering.

West Seattle Reign is excited to bring back our 4v4 Volleyball League! 5 weeks of skill work, game play, teamwork, and fun competition.
This program gives middle school athletes the opportunity to build skills, get more game experience, compete in a fun environment, and play with friends while continuing to develop their understanding of the game.
When: Saturdays, 12:00–2:00 PM
Length: 5 weeks per session
Location: Sylvester Middle School
Cost: $200 per athlete
Included: Training sessions, league play, and a WSR 4v4 T-shirt jersey
Each league day includes both skill development and game play.
Athletes will begin with a 45-minute skills and drills session led by trained WSR staff. This training block is designed to help athletes continue building fundamentals before moving into league play.
After the skill session, athletes will move into their daily 4v4 game schedule.
Each 2-hour session includes:
Daily game schedules will be posted for each league day.
All athletes will have the opportunity to play and help referee. WSR staff will train athletes on basic officiating expectations so they can learn the game from multiple perspectives.
4v4 volleyball gives athletes more touches, more movement, and more opportunities to read the court.
This format helps athletes improve:
Teams will be mixed weekly to help create competitive matchups, encourage athletes to play with different teammates, and keep the league fun and balanced.

This program is designed for athletes who want more touches, more game experience, and a fun competitive environment without the full commitment of a club team.
Athletes should bring:
Volleyballs and training equipment will be provided unless otherwise communicated.
Athletes may bring their own volleyball if preferred, but it should be clearly labeled.
This program requires a minimum of 10 athletes and is limited to a maximum of 16 athletes per age group.
This helps us create the right mix of learning space, competitive play, and fun.
Refunds will only be provided if WS Reign cancels the session due to low enrollment.
