2023 basketball tryouts are now open!!

For this season we are limiting our teams as stated below.  This is due to coach availability and customer demand.  If you are interested in creating a team outside of the ones listed below, please reach out to our Basketball Program Coordinator at Basketball@WestSeattleReign.com.

We may open a 2nd grade girls' team as well, more information to come.

PRACTICE SCHEDULES

Practices start the week of March 20th, 2023.  Practices will be held at Madison MS, March-May and moving to Seattle Lutheran HS for the remainder of the season.  Both facilities are located in West Seattle. For teams that have a season over summer break, July and Aug, there will only be one practice a week as well as one week off at the beginning of July and end of August.  Practice times are as follows.

5th Grade - T/Th 6-730pm

6th Grade - T/Th 6-730pm

7th Grade - T/Th 730-9pm

8th Grade - T/Th 730-9p

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULES

We are finalizing our tournament details per team and expect to have that information posted to our website soon.

5th Grade - One tournament per month, 2 in June

6th Grade - 2 tournaments a month, 1 tournament in Portland, OR in July

7th Grade - 2 tournaments a month, 1 tournament in Portland, OR in July

8th Grade - 2 tournaments a month, 1 tournament in Portland, OR in July

SEASON COST AND PAYMENT PLAN  

Total cost - $1150 + $175 jersey package (5th Grade)

$285 – Down payment due at time of team registration  

$175 – 1-time uniform package, this fee will be invoiced at time of team placement and is due within 48 hours of registration 

$217 – Due March 20th

$217 – Due April 20th

$217 – Due May 20th

$217 – Due June 20th

Total cost - $2550 + $275 jersey package for new athletes (6th-8th Grade)

$285 – Down payment due at time of team registration  

$275 – 1-time uniform package, this fee will be invoiced at time of team placement and is due within 48 hours of registration

All team participants are required to provide age verification & AAU membership (athlete’s court insurance) and waiver sign off at time of registration.  

AAU membership (approx. $15/EA); this is your court insurance required by WSR to participate in long-term programs.  You can register for an AAU membership at https://play.aausports.org/joinaau/membershipapplication.aspx. When asked what club you are joining, please select West Seattle Reign Sports; club #W37D35.
